Pinawa offers a diverse range of year-round recreational opportunities. Below you will find a calendar of recreation programs for the month of July.
If you have questions regarding these programs, or have a program to add to the calendar, please email recreation@pinawa.com and our Recreation Coordinator, Madison Backer will be happy to assist you.
Pinawa Recreation is collecting information for a volunteer bank. This volunteer bank will help streamline volunteer recruitment, and will also allow us to share funding opportunities to groups and clubs. Email recreation@pinawa.com to have your name, contact email, current volunteer groups, and skills/interests added to the online database.

Description:
"All the world's a stage" - William Shakespeare (As You Like It, Act II Scene VII)
By following Shakespeare's wise words, our goal this summer is to explore how our little world here in Pinawa can become our stage!
Come join us this August and discover your passion for the arts! With sessions for theatre, dance and music, your child will gain a well-rounded taste of what the performing arts has to offer. Experienced instructors will lead daily sessions with a variety of games and workshops to introduce new skills or refine old ones.
We are also partnering with professional companies to provide specialty workshops so to broaden your child's experience!
With the opportunity to showcase the participants' work at the end of the week, your child will gain a full experience of the performing arts! Participants will be offered the chance to perform for the community at a special showcase event to perform their new theatrical, musical or dancing knowledge.
Meeting Spot: Ironwood Park Pagoda
A beautiful fact about art is that it can be created anytime, anywhere by anyone. By connecting the performing arts with nature, we are experimenting with how the outdoors can help creativity to flow! We'll be finding different locations around Ironwood Park to create and practice art, truly making the world our stage.
