The LGD of Pinawa is now accepting applications for our 2026 Summer Pool & Beach Team!
With the Pool serving as one of our community’s most highly visited summer attractions, we are looking for sharp, energetic staff to supervise pool users, lead swimming programs, and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for everyone.
Open Positions
- Pool Supervisor: Lead the team, a manage scheduling, and oversee program operations & administration.
- Lifeguard / Swim Instructors: Supervise swimming, teach lessons and facility cleaning while focusing on safety and response.
- Assistant Lifeguards: Entry-level support managing facility access and team assistance.
General Requirements
- Minimum 16 years old.
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (Required for all roles).
- Bronze Cross (Assistant) or National Lifeguard (Lifeguard/Supervisor).

Public Works Department
The Local Government District of Pinawa Public Works Department is seeking a dedicated and reliable Public Works Labourer to join our team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our community's infrastructure. As a Public Works Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to road maintenance, construction, landscaping, and general upkeep of public spaces. Your contributions will directly impact the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our town.

The Local Government District of Pinawa Recreation Department is seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and community-minded Casual Recreation Program Facilitators to lead engaging recreational programs for participants of various ages for the year of 2026.

Pinawa Fire & Rescue
The Pinawa Fire & Rescue Service is reaching out to recruit dedicated individuals who are eager to make a meaning difference.
We welcome applicants aged 18 or older who are physically able and eager to make a positive impact. No firefighting experience required—just a readiness to learn and serve. Applicants must pass criminal, child abuse, and vulnerable sector checks, as well as have a mostly clear driving record.
