Besides offering Swim For Life Water Safety and Life Saving Society programs, a large variety of other programs are offered at the Pinawa Pool.

Programs include Lap Swim, Parent and Tot, Aquafit, Public Swim, Family Swim, Quiet Swim, Youth Swim and pool rentals.

We do our very best to schedule your children’s lesson times as close together as possible to accommodate you.  Please call the Municipal Office one (1) week prior to the start date for lesson time(s). 

Registration forms Please be advised that we will not be accepting any registration forms until Monday May 6, 2024.

We accept cash, cheque, debit or e-transfer to Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday (with the exception of Statutory Holidays). Please use the After-Hours Mail Slot if we are closed.

Pinawa Public Pool will be offering four two-week sessions for 2023.  

Session 1: July 1 - July 12
Session 2:  July 15 -July 26
Session 3:  July 29 - August 9
Session 4:  August 12 - August 23

We offer the Bronze Medallion & Bronze Cross Life Saving Programs🏊‍♀️in Session 4 (Aug 12-23). There is a minimum of 4 swimmers per class or we are unable to proceed with the program. For more information or call our office 204-753-5100.

Please download and complete the Swimming Registration Form and return with payment to the LGD of Pinawa Municipal Office, Box 100, Pinawa, MB R0E 1L0. Some fees are subject to GST.

Parent & Tot: $70
Preschool 1 & Preschool 2: $70
Swimmer 1 to Rookie: $77

Ranger to Bronze Star: $82.50+GST (14 yrs +)

Aquafit: $82.86+GST for 10 classes or $10.47+GST for drop in.

Private Lessons:  $200 + GST
(Available in Session 4 ONLY – Limit ONE per class; (times may not coincide with regular levels)

Pool Rates and Rules


Pinawa Beach is located on the northern end of Whiteshell Provincial Park along the Winnipeg River and is equipped with a play structure, picnic shelter, volleyball court, and diving platform.

A lifeguard is stationed on duty from July 1st to August 31st, weekdays only from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
